This year marked the sixteenth anniversary of the Thomas DeLitto & Sons Scholarship Fund! We again thank you for your very generous support

During the past year we received many generous donations that enabled us to provide thirteen scholarship awards totaling $26,000. Three scholarships were awarded to Mamaroneck High School students, six to Rye Neck High School students, and five went to previous recipients who continue to perform exceptionally well in college. All award recipients were children of parents in trade or service occupations and clearly exemplified the basic attributes of candidates for our award:

  • A strong work ethic

  • Good citizenship

  • A well rounded high school experience

  • A demonstrated financial need for assistance

This year’s awards bring our sixteen year total to $373,000. This would not be possible without your amazing support and the Trustees thank you for helping us to “give back” to deserving students who reflect the same strong character and work ethic instilled in us by our own families that inspired us to establish this scholarship fund.

Since inception, donations from our Trustees have more than offset the expenses of the Fund so that 100% of all other contributions have gone directly to support the recent and future scholarship awards. Thanks to the wonderful help, support and generosity we have received to date, we look forward to providing our assistance for many years to come.  It is truly rewarding to feel that we can make such a meaningful contribution to the future of these deserving students.

To that end, we would like to encourage your continuing support and would greatly appreciate any amount you can give.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact myself or any of our Trustees,

Thank you very much,
Tom DeLitto
